In every bakery world cultures collide and customs are absorbed. Our feather-light raisin-studded scones are one of the signature products in our retail stores. They have been part of our menu almost as long as we have been making our Scaletta bread. Scottish in origin, our scones recipe came to us in the 1940s from a maritime Scottish baker /chef who we had the good sense to hire! His legacy lives on in these scones to this day.
