Our Irish Soda Bread is a very traditional, dense, cake like bread made without yeast and loaded with raisins, eggs, buttermilk and faint caraway seed highlights.
Irish Sweet Bread is a yeast raised, round bread, light as a cloud and stuffed with raisins. It can be frozen, but is seldom around long enough to make that journey.

Today the habit of tea drinking is inexorably linked to the British despite the fact that they were fairly late on the scene in historical terms. It was in the mid seventeenth century that the British began their love affair with tea and from the very beginning it was seen as a healthy drink that calms and invigorates.
Legends abound over the origins of Earl Grey Tea but all that is certain is that it was the British Prime minister Earl Grey who made this tea fashionable in the 1830's. Traditionally it was a blend of Chinese and Indian tea scented with the oil from the citrus bergamot fruit.
Our Earl Grey is made from teas from the three top tea growing regions of Sri Lanka and scented with pure bergamot oil from Calabria (not flavor crystals). An unbelievable aroma that portends the unbelievable taste. This is the best Earl Gray tea we have ever tasted.
Our luxury quality teas are packed in biodegradable pyramid bags which, when submerged in boiling water, allow the tea leaves to float freely, releasing maximum flavor into the water. There is less breakage of the tea leaves in these bags, reducing or eliminating the presence of tea “dust” in the bottom of the cup.
