This pesto sauce is a delicious variation on the traditional Genovese Pesto, made with added pistachio nuts. It is an excellent and sophisticated seasoning for pasta, or just on
bread for a great appetizer. It can also be used as a condiment in the making of summer sandwiches with mozzarella cheese, iceberg lettuce, sundried tomatoes and mayonnaise.
One jar is sufficient for one pound of pasta and is best not reheated: simply add to your freshly-cooked pasta.
