This very practical, rectangular shaped ceramic jar is beautifully hand painted in the Tuscan city of Montelupo, celebrated for centuries for their ceramic production. It takes its name Portapane, which means breadbox in Italian, from its bread box shape. Filled in layers with individually wrapped biscotti, almond macaroons and chocolate confections.
