Tarallini

This Southern Italian wheat flour snack is really an Italian brother of the German pretzel and is found all over the Puglia and Campagana regions. Like a pretzel and bagel it is first boiled in water then baked. They are formed into rings and can be savory or sweet and have the texture of a pretzel, cracker or breadstick.

Our Tarallini are a smaller bite size versions, all are savory and make a perfectly unique wine or cocktail snack. They are especially delicious with hard cheese, olives, soups and salads. Our assortment includes what we consider the classics: Fennel Seed, Black Pepper, Pizza (tomato & oregano) and our larger size Almond Black Pepper.
